1 Q Does Pro100 run on a Macintosh OS X?
A This is the single most asked question that we get in e-mails and calls. No, you cannot install the program in your Macintosh computer, But..  the good news is, there is a way around it... I will explain. There are ways to run multiple operating systems in one machine. They can run virtually or independently one at a time but consider the pros and cons. For example, you can install and run virtual MS Windows XP Pro within your mac. There are tons of online support for these kind of set ups. I find this one fairly easy for a novice. The only downside in this particular one is that you require more RAM to run a virtual machine. Please don't call us to ask how to do this, we are not responsible for whatever you do with your computer. All I can tell you is that it works. Please have a look at the following links: -   Link 1 Link 2
2 Q I have a laptop, do I still need a mouse?
Yes! you do need a two button mouse preferably one with a scroll wheel, this will enable you to zoom in and out on each elevation. Also make sure your computer has a USB port.
3 Q Does Pro100 create a cut list?
A Pro100 is easy to set up your cutlist. It is the only program that I know of that creates the cutlist as you create the parts. It has a “what you see is what you get” cut list feature. Link to cut list instructions.
4 Q Can you create your own catalog with pro100?
A Yes if you sell ready-made, you can add that line of sale into your catalog. please see this video example .
5 Q Can I get elevations with dimensions?
A Yes in fact you can turn on and off dimensions several places in the program. Please look at our help file under help topics menu.
6 Q Can Pro100 use pictures of tile, fabrics, appliances, cabinet doors,
A  You can easily use .jpg or .bmp file in Pro100. All you have to do is add the picture to a folder under Textures. Then when you are in Pro100 you just drag the picture and place it on an object, floor, ceiling, wall, etc. No importing just drag and drop.
7 Q Can I create my own objects?
A  Click on the Element button then click on the floor or wall depending on the object you want to create. If you want to shape the object, click on the object then click shape editor. You will put several elements together to create an object like a cabinet, chair, bed, etc. Refer to the help topics in pro100
8 Q Can Pro100 use 3D DXF and DWG files like you find on the Kohler and other sites?
A  Not only can we import DXF and DWG files we can import many other 3D formats. Just send us the file you want to convert to our .med file format and we will send it back to you. There is a charge if you want a lot of them converted.
9 Q Does Pro100 run in Windows Vista and Window 7?
A PRO100 software works correctly on Vista and Windows 7 powered computers. When you install Pro100 Key version or Demo version, Right Click on File then click on Run as administrator.  In case of problems with hardware dongle access or problems with the demo running please switch the parameter "User control" in Menu start/control panel/user accounts to OFF. In case of any other problems or questions please refer to our technical support.
10 Q I am having a hard time with 45 degree angles. I found the wall in the sidebar, I can insert the 45 degree wall but it is not letting me put cabinets anywhere near the 45 degree wall. Can you help?
A Please go through the following page and watch the video. If you still have questions please call us 574-299-5330  http://www.pro100usa.com/Calc.php
11 Q I downloaded the program, finished installation and now it won't open or run, what do I do?
A I get a few of these, chances are your registry is corrupted, you need to consider cleaning up your computer by running antivirus full scan and a malware. For now you may download your demo here. This should work. Remember to uninstall previous first. If purchased a lease version and you experience this problem, please download these updates, copy them into your pro100 folder, which should be somewhere like this C:\Pro100 depending on your root directory. Basically you will be replacing these files. Call if you still have problems.
12 Q I bought a new computer, how do I transfer my catalog and all my projects?
A  A sure way of not running into problems is first, install a fresh copy of pro100 software in your new computer. Then copy, not 'cut' the entire pro100 folder from your old computer, depending on how big it is, a flash drive is a perfect media tool for this. They are fairly cheap these days. Save it in the flash drive by pasting it in there, go to your new computer replace the existing new pro100 folder with the old one in your flash drive. Done!
