Q
Does Pro100 run on a Macintosh OS X?
A This is the single
most asked question that we get in e-mails and calls. No,
you cannot install the program in your Macintosh computer,
But.. the good news is, there is a way around it... I
will explain. There are ways to run multiple operating
systems in one machine. They can run virtually or
independently one at a time but consider the pros and cons.
For example, you can install and run virtual MS Windows XP
Pro within your mac. There are tons of online support for
these kind of set ups. I find this one fairly easy for a
novice. The only downside in this particular one is that you
require more RAM to run a virtual machine. Please don't call
us to ask how to do this, we are not responsible for
whatever you do with your computer. All I can tell you is
that it works. Please have a look at the following links: -

I have a laptop, do I still need a mouse?
A Yes!
you do need a two button
mouse preferably one with a scroll
wheel, this will enable you to zoom
in and out on each elevation. Also
make sure your computer has a USB
port. |

Q
Does Pro100 create a cut list?
A Pro100 is easy to set
up your cutlist. It is the only
program that I know of that creates
the cutlist as you create the parts.
It has a “what you see is what you
get” cut list feature. Link to cut
list instructions. |

Q
I downloaded the program, finished installation and now
it won't open or run, what do I do?
A I
get a few of these, chances are your
registry is corrupted, you need to
consider cleaning up your computer
by running antivirus full scan and a
malware. For now you may download
your demo
here. This should work.
Remember to uninstall previous
first. If purchased a lease version
and you experience this problem,
please download
these updates,
copy them into your pro100 folder,
which should be somewhere like this
C:\Pro100
depending on your root directory.
Basically you will be replacing
these files. Call if you still have
problems. |

Q
I bought a new computer, how do I transfer my catalog and
all my projects?
A
A sure way of not running into problems is first,
install a fresh copy of pro100 software in your new
computer. Then copy, not 'cut' the entire pro100 folder from
your old computer, depending on how big it is, a flash drive
is a perfect media tool for this. They are fairly cheap
these days. Save it in the flash drive by pasting it in
there, go to your new computer replace the existing new
pro100 folder with the old one in your flash drive. Done! |
