A Little History on How We Started

On October 12, 1996, the late Jackie Lane Knudson started Pulsarusa.com, a website to sell DecoTech software out of Canada in the United States. She was very charismatic and had a clear sense of her business purpose. Jacky wanted to help local individuals and businesses progress in the interior design and furniture industry. She started by providing a software platform which would then facilitate their personalized projects and their businesses.

The idea was great but had its own challenges. There was little technological advances in woodworking industry at the time. Cabinet makers and remodelers used hand drawing in their design work. Nearly all of her new clients or prospects had never used a computer software for any job task, let alone owned one.

It was almost impossible to convince new prospects to purchase a computer (very expensive at the time), encourage them to learn how to use it before closing a sale for the design software. With the help from her husband, Ted Knudson, the hard work and dedication eventually paid off. A little over a year later, they managed to sell  DecoTech software to thousands of customers  across United States, Canada and beyond.

The Launch

Unfortunately, DecoTech has not kept up with the times. Therefore, in July 2006 we started to sell Pro100, a much better product and easier to use. To our surprise, the response has been phenomenal even after the economic meltdown in 2008.  Pro100 is one of the best design program in the market today for the price of $2,550.

Obviously we have worked tirelessly to make sure that we keep up with the ever-changing technological advances. This page is responsive to your mobile devices, including tablets and smartphones. We currently have customers running Pro100 software on Windows Surface Pro 2 as well.
