Measuring Tool
The measuring tool is a very powerful feature that helps with dimensions of any given object that you drag and drop on the floor. For instance, if you would like to know the distance between two cabinets, or distance of a particular item in relation to anything on the floor, first highlight the object(s), navigate either to the left side menu to click on the measurement icon right next to new element, or if you have multiple items, use the vertical and horizontal icons to get the same results.
Notice sometimes you may have to go to the "Tool" menu and click on the word "dimensions" This is an ON/OFF button that enables you to either show, or hide all dimensions on your project. Depending on your industry, there are times when you might not need to show dimensions on your final drawings. This is when this feature comes in handy. Please see the video below.
