How to Switch from Imperial to Metric and vice versa
Pro100 makes it very simple to switch between imperial and metric units, giving users flexibility no matter their preferred measurement system. Whether you’re designing for clients who use inches or millimeters, the software allows you to adjust settings in just a few clicks.
To change the units, start by navigating to the top left corner of the screen and clicking on the Tools menu. From there, scroll all the way down and select Preferences. When the pop-up window appears, click on the Units tab.
Inside this section, you’ll notice a Category menu that lets you choose where you want the changes applied—either Dimensions or Reports. Just below that, you’ll find options for Style, Precision, and Units. Set each of these according to your preferences, depending on how detailed and formatted you want your measurements to be.
For best results, check all the boxes under Truncate Zeros, Upround Precision, and Show Units. These options help ensure your measurements are displayed clearly and consistently.
Once everything is set, click OK to apply the changes. The update takes effect immediately, making the transition seamless.
