Please note that these are the minimum requirements we recommend. The higher you go, the better, for example, 8G of RAM is much better than a 4G.

A computer mouse - Very important!. We have had some of our clients using touchscreen, that is ok with you but we do not support it as a primary way of using or learning Pro100 software at the moment.
Pro100 is a Windows-based application. Be sure you are running at least Microsoft Windows 7 or later. If you are a Mac OS X enthusiast read more details. This program requires basic computer skills in order to experience its full functionality. These tasks includes: -
- Opening and closing files
- Accessing a USB Port
- Locating a saved file
- Copy and paste texts or files
- Surf the internet and download files.
Installation - Dongle Key
The good news is; when you buy the program, we ship out a USB dongle key. What is a dongle key? We get this question all the times. It is a piece of hardware that attaches to a computer and allows a piece of secured software to run. In this case we send you Pro100 USB dongle key. This is your actual license.
Dongle key enables you to install Pro100 in as many computers as you like but it will only run on the computer with the key plugged into USB port. Enjoy the portabilty if you travel a lot with your laptop. The above requirements fit almost every PC and printer set available now.
It is possible to run the program on a slower computer and with less operational memory, but it will slow the program down. If there is not enough space on the hard-disk, it is possible to install only a part of the furniture and materials catalogs. Laptop users, the use of a mouse is highly recommended.
We have been getting an increasing number of inquiries from customers with Apple computers asking if our software will run on a Mac, so we created this page to address their questions. Pro100 can run on your Mac, but requires a copy of Windows and either of the two method in the text below (straight from Apple's website).
Pro100 on a Mac?
Yes, you can but you will need to do a few things. Since Apple’s transition to Intel processors in 2006, Windows applications run beautifully on the Mac. Every currently shipped Mac qualifies, but older Macs may not. Please check your system profile in "About This Mac" to ensure what you need to run Windows. Basically, there are two ways to run Windows on your Mac:
- Boot into Windows at startup. This dedicates 100% of the processor power to Windows and Windows applications. You can’t use Mac OS X again until you restart your computer.
- Use virtualization software. This lets you run Mac OS X and Windows side by side. We highly recommend minimum RAM of 8GB to ensure smooth operation.
Parallel or Virtualization with Pro100 Software
With virtualization, you can switch between them as easily as you would switch between Mac applications. But you cannot run Windows without Windows—you will need to acquire your own copy of either Windows 7 or later to use either solution. If you have a newer Mac, we recommend taking the virtualization route.
You will not have to partition your hard drive and can run Pro100 side-by-side with your other Mac software, and best of all, without a noticeable performance penalty.
You will need a copy of either Parallels or VMware Fusion, and a copy of Windows. Both Parallels and VMware offer trial versions. You may also be able to get a trial version of Windows. Click on the useful links below to learn more. If you have questions please give contact us.
Surface Pro Users
Since the launch of the Surface devices from Microsoft, we have received a number complaints from customers, one of the more major problems being screen flicker. Most users who are savvy have been able to fix this problem by updating the graphic card firmware directly from Intel. Microsoft reports that their updates are installed automatically on Surface through Windows Update but we still strongly encourage you to manually check for the latest firmware.
There is nothing more irritating than a display which is flickering on and off in seemingly random fashion causing your program to shut down by itself. There are ways to implement workarounds in some cases, but strongly agree with our customers that this issues should be fixed by Microsoft. This problem may have been fixed by the time you read this.
There are numerous issues which have affected the Surface book including display driver issues, color temprature problems and so forth. Please note that we can only support our product.
